Halle Berry’s masculine make-up
October 3, 2009

Halle Berry
Halle Berry feels like a “man in drag” if she wears too much make-up.
The ‘X-Men’ actress – who is considered to be one of the world’s most beautiful women – prefers to show off her natural good looks rather than spend time applying beauty products.
She said: “Less is more. When I wear too much make-up, I feel like a man in drag. I prefer to be low-maintenance.”
Halle – who has an 18-month-old daughter, Nahla, with boyfriend Gabriel Aubry and is believed to be expecting her second child – has revealed she dedicates even less time to preening herself since Nahla was born.
She explained to Britain’s InStyle magazine: “My beauty routine has changed since I became a mother. Now all my efforts are for her. I don’t style my hair much any more, but I do hers all the time!”
The 43-year-old actress has previously revealed she loves having a family and believes starting a family has changed her life.
She said: “Motherhood will always be my priority now, especially because I had a child for the first time at 41. My priority had been myself for a long time, but now it will always be Nahla. You think you know what love is – until you have a child and discover that unconditional mother love.”
Penelope Cruz tied in knots over bedroom

Penelope Cruz
Penelope Cruz wants to install ropes to swing from in her bedroom.
The actress had to shoot an elaborate song-and-dance rope routine for her new movie ‘Nine’, and despite damaging her hands during the scene she wants to make the most of her training.
‘Nine’ director Rob Marshall explained to Vanity Fair magazine: “The day we were shooting her big number she was working so hard. In the middle of the number she does this work with ropes – she was swinging on them and it was scary and she had formed calluses and her hands were bleeding.
“There’s this huge sheath of pink satin she slides down on. When we finished the number she had disappeared behind the satin and was in tears. I said, ‘Are you unhappy with what you did?’ She said, ‘No, no, it’s that it’s over and I loved every second. I want to install ropes in my bedroom so I don’t have to let go of it.’ ”
Sophia Loren co-stars in the film and she bonded so strongly with Penelope, they were inconsolable at the end of filming.
Sophia said: “When it was my last day she came to my dressing room. She was crying and I was crying. This is the first time I have left a film set crying because we got so upset about leaving each other.”
Penelope, 35, has previously admitted she found shooting the movie an extremely rewarding and emotional experience.
She said: “I couldn’t stop crying, because I had been doing dance classes and rehearsals for so many months. It’s in the film and it will be there forever, but I don’t get to do it again. I was addicted to dancing!”

The Crazies

The Crazies
Plot Summary: Imagine living in a small town where everything is safe and happy… until suddenly it isn’t. Imagine your friends and neighbors going quickly and horrifically insane. In a terrifying tale of the “American Dream” gone horribly wrong, four friends find themselves trapped in their hometown in “The Crazies,” a reinvention of the George Romero classic directed by Breck Eisner from a screenplay by Ray Wright (”Pulse,” “Case 39″) and Scott Kosar (”The Amityville Horror,” “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre”).
David Dutton (Timothy Olyphant) is sheriff of Ogden Marsh, a picture-perfect American town with happy, law-abiding citizens. But one night, one of them comes to a school baseball game with a loaded shotgun, ready to kill. Another man burns down his own house…after locking his wife and young son in a closet inside. Within days, the town has transformed into a sickening asylum; people who days ago lived quiet, unremarkable lives have now become depraved, blood-thirsty killers, hiding in the darkness with guns and knives. Sheriff Dutton tries to make sense of what’s happening as the horrific, nonsensical violence escalates. Something is infecting the citizens of Ogden Marsh… with insanity. Now complete anarchy reigns as one by one the townsfolk succumb to an unknown toxin and turn sadistically violent. In an effort to keep the madness contained, the government uses deadly force to close off all access and won’t let anyone in or out – even those uninfected. The few still sane find themselves trapped: Sheriff Dutton; his pregnant wife, Judy (Radha Mitchell); Becca (Danielle Panabaker), an assistant at the medical center; and Russell (Joe Anderson), Dutton’s deputy and right-hand man. Forced to band together, an ordinary night becomes a horrifying struggle for survival as they do their best to get out of town alive.

Capitalism: A Love Story
October 3, 2009

Michael Moore's: Capitalism: A Love Story
Plot Summary: On the 20-year anniversary of his groundbreaking masterpiece “Roger & Me,” Michael Moore’s “Capitalism: A Love Story” comes home to the issue he’s been examining throughout his career: the disastrous impact of corporate dominance on the everyday lives of Americans (and by default, the rest of the world). But this time the culprit is much bigger than General Motors, and the crime scene far wider than Flint, Michigan. From Middle America, to the halls of power in Washington, to the global financial epicenter in Manhattan, Michael Moore will once again take filmgoers into uncharted territory. With both humor and outrage, Michael Moore’s “Capitalism: A Love Story” explores a taboo question: What is the price that America pays for its love of capitalism? Years ago, that love seemed so innocent. Today, however, the American dream is looking more like a nightmare as families pay the price with their jobs, their homes and their savings. Moore takes us into the homes of ordinary people whose lives have been turned upside down; and he goes looking for explanations in Washington, DC and elsewhere. What he finds are the all-too-familiar symptoms of a love affair gone astray: lies, abuse, betrayal… and 14,000 jobs being lost every day. “Capitalism: A Love Story” is both a culmination of Moore’s previous works and a look into what a more hopeful future could look like. It is Michael Moore’s ultimate quest to answer the question he’s posed throughout his illustrious filmmaking career: Who are we and why do we behave the way that we do?

Will Jessica Alba Join Little Fockers?
October 3, 2009

Jessica Alba and the Fockers?
Jessica Alba is in talks about joining the star studded cast of the Meet The Fockers franchise in the newest instalment Little Fockers. De Niro! Hoffman! Streisand! Stiller! Yeah, some pretty good company right there.
Access reports that, “The 28-year-old actress would play an attractive pharmaceuticals rep whose sheer presence wreaks havoc on the film’s male stars.”
The film is slated to come out in July 2010 and will probably focus on the main characters new offspring, the last film “Meet the Fockers” ended with a pregnant Teri Polo. But with a kid/baby cast, having Alba’s daughter Honor hanging around the set would be probably be easy peasy, much better than the set of Sin City.
Games and Glitz at E3
June 7, 2009
Jun 4, 2009 by Jessica Kosinski
The E3 gaming convention kicked off with a bang last week, on Monday night, June 1, 2009. The 2009 incarnation of the yearly event was packed full of cool new games, systems and celebrity plugs. Any gamer would’ve been proud and thrilled to be there. For those that missed it, though, let me bring you in on the party details.
First of all, there was a VIP party Monday night that started things off. There was an elite crowd in attendance, including Matthew McConaughey.
The party was in honor of the new Guitar Hero spin off, DJ Hero. So, as you might expect, there was plenty of live music. The headliners of the show, in fact, were none other than Eminem and Jay-Z. While their style may not be everyone’s cup of tea, there was no denying the party atmosphere. Even celeb guests like Kim Kardashian and Leo Dicaprio were enjoying it.
.
The star appearances didn’t end at kickoff night, either. In fact, tons of them were on hand to talk about new gaming experiences, including some seriously incredible concepts that should be awesome, once the kinks are worked out.
Namely, I’m talking about Project Natal, which is Steven Spielberg’s new pet project. He was on hand to tell everyone all about it, too.
According to Steven, Project Natal is designed to recognize people’s voices, faces and movements. Meaning that players will be able to play a game without using any sort of controller, just their body and their voice. Imagine that! It’ll be like the video game has come alive and responds directly to you, according to Spielberg.
Of course, his speech wouldn’t have been complete without a demo. He definitely got his point across with that. It was a boy’s face on a screen that followed people with its eyes, as they worked their way around the room. Although some people found it a bit scary, the concept is still incredible and it should be awesome when it’s ready!
The event even included a Beatles reunion. The two live Beatles, Ringo and Paul, showed up and so did Yoko Ono and the son of George Harrison, Dhani. What was the occasion? Celebration The Beatles: Rock Band, of course! The all expressed their love of the game, which features 45 classic Beatles songs.
Another hit was Daisy Fuentes with her new pilates game for Nintendo Wii. As you probably know, Wii is big on the fitness factor. Daisy’s pilates game can be used with the Wii Fit system or a regular Wii remote, for added adaptability.
Another notable appearance was James Cameron. He was there to talk about his movie, Avatar, which is also being tied in to a video game. The game is from Ubisoft and it’s set in a forest world. It’s in 2-D, though, so you can get fully involved in the game. As you deal with enemies and animals in this third-person shooter, you’re likely to forget you aren’t actually in the forest.
All of that and more, including talk of the latest Mario game and the Hannah Montana PSP, took place at this year’s E3. So, it’s easy to see that they’re coming out with some great gaming advances.
Mike Tyson’s Daughter Pronounced Dead
May 26, 2009
The already tragic news did not get any better for Mike Tyson’s family.
Arizona police have confirmed to E! News that the former heavyweight champ’s 4-year-old daughter, Exodus Tyson, has died, a day after accidentally hanging herself on a piece of exercise equipment at the family home.
“I was just advised by investigators that Exodus Tyson was pronounced deceased at 11:45 a.m. today at the hospital,” said Sgt. Andy Hill of the Phoenix Police Department. “Our sympathies go out to the family. I cannot release any other information.”
Exodus was on life support in critical condition at St. Joseph’s Hospital. She had somehow become entangled by a cord hanging from a treadmill and was unconscious when her 7-year-old brother discovered her.
E! News has learned that the children’s mother is 34-year-old Sol Xochitl of Phoenix. She and Tyson no longer live together but are still a couple, according to neighbor Dinka Radic.
